Marilyn L. Bach, Ph.D., is the founder and owner of Heel to Toe Fitness Walking, St. Paul, Minnesota, and the designer of the popular ShapeWalking program. Dr. Bach is a personal trainer certified by the American Council of Exercise and a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. She has extensive experience as a research scientist/faculty member at several graduate and medical schools, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Bernie Badegruber
Bernie Badegruber is a sociologist, special educator, and elementary school principal. He trains teachers at the Pedagogical Institute in Linz, Austria, as well as at the Free University of Bolzano, Italy. The author has developed and tested these games in his daily work with children over almost 30 years. He has written 15 books on social learning and game pedagogy.
